Care-informed product development
For more than 16 years, I’ve supported new parents in the Bay Area through postpartum recovery, newborn care, and the intimate realities of the fourth trimester. That work taught me how to listen closely, recognize the need beneath the request, and create solutions around real people—not assumptions.
Nurture The Roots is the home of my postpartum care practice. Vela extends those 16 years of hands-on experience into a digital companion for new parents, bringing the same care-informed perspective into the fourth trimester.
Today, I bring that same attentiveness to digital product development. I work with founders and small businesses to turn thoughtfully scoped ideas into clear, useful, and genuinely considered products.
My current focus includes MVPs, client portals, workflow systems, websites, prototypes, and carefully designed AI-powered tools.
